The Stolen Chariot is the first short story written by Rick Riordan featuring characters from the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. The events in the story take place after The Titan's Curse. As with the main series, the story is narrated in the first-person by the main protagonist, Percy Jackson. The story was originally written as a promotional piece to coincide with the release of The Titan's Curse. Originally it was only available on a special bookshop mailing list and was meant to be the "one-and-only" Percy Jackson and the Olympians short story. Thankfully Rick had a change of heart and released the story on his blog in three instalments between 23rd and 28th July 2007. It was published in The Demigod Files and can still be read online. -
